Title: Dlink DFL-860E VPN with an external database
Post by: johnlookup on December 10, 2012, 04:18:54 AM
Hi Guys

Need a little help on Dlink DFL-860E.

I need to get the VPN working with an external database (Windows 2008 Active Directory).

I got it working by using LDAP and it connects fine on Windows Platforms, but for some reason this do not work on MACs.

I really need to get this working for MAC and using the local database on the Dlink DFL-860E is not an options as my boss want to use Active Directory for the VPN Authentication.

Any help will be great.

Thanks In Advance.
John

Please give us more details - what you already setted up (user auth rule, LDAP connector, etc), what happened when you are trying to use this connection (logs from DFL and AD).
