My problems are similar to the issues posted in this thread. http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=5150.0
Everything runs fine for a few days then my connection slows to a crawl, pages wont load and I can not access the setup page.
When this happens I receive the following messages when trying to access the setup/config pages in the router.
Connection: close
if I refresh the page several times it will tell me to try again.. lol... no shlt! :)
After 5-10 refreshes I end up with a gray background page (like the setup page partially loads) and this in the top left corner.
<script type="text/javascript" src="/utils.j
The only way for me to gain access to the router is to unplug and reboot it.
I wouldn't care so much if I could go back to 1.21 but I am stuck with 1.30 (btw: got it prior to the beta tag otherwise I would have waited.)

The changelog was still the same before the beta-tag. 8)
Any firewalls running? Looks like a client issue.

No firewalls. except the routers.
I thought my java maay be borked but updated it the last time it happpend, with no help.
I know the changelog was the same but I would not have used it if it was considered a "beta"

What's changed beside the firmware flashing on the router then on the PC in question? Did you mod anything on the laptop say tweaking TCP/IP on it? Which browser are you using? If your using Firefox have you ran Ftune on it. Firefox is having issues with CPU and RAM spikes where it using over 100KB. Do you get the same results running IE6/7/8?

I get this issue all the time on my A2 and I am on 1.22B05.
Its gotten to the point where i want to get a new router because I feel like I have to baby sit it. It just slows down the point where I can't even load anything, including its status page. I have posted in some other threads trying to figure out if my issue is the same.
What kind of wireless environment are you in? is it set to g/n or just n? 40/20? Are the computer connected a mix of b/g?
-
Nothing has changed on the PC since updating the firmware. I also downloaded my router settings prior to flashing and then reloaded them after I flashed.
It is windows XP Pro (64bit) and IE 7. WIFI setup is G/N Mix.
I Dont have FF installed to run ftune.

Baby Site (NT Admin) I've tried Auto/20/40 or just 40Hz or just 20Hz still does the same thing. I've even re-build systems to see if the problem was with the wireless laptop nope.. It's the firmware not the hardware is causing the issues. Other brands used as wireless access G connections no issues through the DIR-655 A3/1.30NA nor with A3/1.22B05 same setup. Wired connections okay. Anyway other router brands in N going to have the some sort of issues. I get those questions every day.. Everyone sticking with Wireless G MIMO (high power/high speed) for now. I have 3 different brands for wireless N and they all work then then don't work, then they work and then they don't work. I've even used DD-WRT on Wireless N they have 10Hz, 20Hz, 40Hz settings none work right and wireless N isn't that great if the hardware has issues.

IE 7 and it still doesn't work with that one.. Did if ever work though with prior firmware versions?
