Hi all, this might be a stupid question but.... how can I connect to my 320 externaly when away from home? Tired typing the IP on my ipad but it just times out?

Sign up for DDNS hostname, configure it on your router/NAS and add port-forwarding entry for default port 80 (HTTP) or 443 (HTTPS). This will allow you remote access to your NAS.
To access other services, add the respective port-forwarding entries.

Cab you recommend a site to get a DDNS host name from?

Of course get it from D-Link not to mention it's still free. ;-)
