Title: DGS 1500 28P Switch Problem

I just installed a new DGS 1500 smart switch and I am having many problems linking 2 of the computers on the LAN.

I have a server computer on port 6 that my front desk computer (port 14) accesses to use a Quickbooks file for our company.  Ever since I have replaced the switch the file will not oppen and I am getting a lot of errors on those 2 ports when I look at the monitoring and port statistics.

Both computers are using the gigabit ethernet adapter.
When I ping the server computer I get request timeouts
I have replaced all the cables and connectors
I have switched ports.



Any suggestions?

Any VLAN's in the setup?
