I've got a DIR-655 that I use as a wireless access point/switch (dhcp off) behind my Actiontec Verizon Fios router. The DIR-655 is in the basement and has my PS3 and Xbox hard wired to it.
I've got playon server setup on my pc upstairs which is connected wirelessly to the Actiontec router. If I connect my ps3 wirelessly to the Actiontec, it immediately sees the playon server and streams movies without issue. However, when I hardwire the PS3 to the DIR-655, it will not pickup the playon server connected to the Actiontec router.
I've got dhcp turned off and multicasting turned on under advanced settings of the Dlink.
Any ideas?

I'm confused. That thread didn't say how the guy got it to work.

I'll post my settings on the thread I started in about 10 minutes...

Thanks. The playon support guy just pointed to these forums and told me to buy another brand of router.

If you have the 655 still, try reading that thread again. Settings have been posted. This is a configuration issue.
