Hi,
My router suddenly cannot be connected wirelessly starting today, but connection using ethernet cable can be done.
Details:
HW ver: T1
firmware ver: 1.01
region: Indonesia
wireless mode: mixed 802.11g & 802.11b
security: WPA-PSK
I tried to :
reset the wireless basic & security setting
turn off & on again modem
uninstall & install the wi fi driver from laptop
still no avail
How to check if the router wireless hardware fails when I only have 1 router? (ideally borrow another router and try right?)

Try a factory reset of the MODEM?
Do any other devices connect to the MODEMs wifi?

Try a factory reset of the MODEM?
I tried just now, wifi is up again, will monitor
Do any other devices connect to the MODEMs wifi?
not yet, I will try to connect my phone & camera
FYI when the wifi was down, the 'WLAN' lamp indicator on the modem was off; and only factory reset got it back on again.
What could be the cause?
Thanks

When I'm not there, how can I monitor the status of wireless connection?
Is there any logs / software monitoring that keeps logs?

Possible something wrong in the configuration of the WiFi on the modem. Other near by wifi signals being on the same channel. You might try to set the WiFi to a open channel thats not being used. Try channel 11.
You might see if the modem has any logging abilities.
