Title: To set new password

I have a DIR-655 at home, and I would like to set a new password. I am trying to log in from Windows 7/64 via Firefox or IE using the default user name "admin" and leaving the password field blank. This succeeded in Oct 2012 when logging in via a Windows XP notebook but fails now using Windows 7. I have no record of ever setting a new password. How can I log in? Thanks.

Make sure you are pressing the Login button and not just hitting Enter.  If that does not work, you can always do a Factory Reset with the little button on the back of the 655.

Thanks Davevt31, I was pressing the login button. I am hesitant to hit the reset button because I did not set up the system and I don't know what happens on reset.

It is reset back to as it came out of the factory box, you will then have to go through and redo your settings.
