Title: DIR-615: power light is off , but WAN-L1-L2-L3-L4 are solid green
Post by: jenom on December 23, 2012, 05:50:18 AM
I have a DIR-615 v e3 router
Did a bad dd-wrt flash and now all it does:
-no power light
-solid green lights: WAN-L1-L2-L3-L4
tried to go to recovery mode (power on while holding reset switch).....does not work
my search on the internet revealed, that after bad flash, power light still comes on, maybe as orange, maybe blinking, or just blinks once
Anybody has any thought, suggestion on this ?
Thanks!

Try the emergency recovery mode post in the FAQ Library. If that fails, youll need to RMA the router back to DLink.

Let us know how it goes.

Do you have any news about this topic? I'm with the same problem and I've tried everthing but the router is still dead, the power led is turned off, the wireless led in on as the one that i've the network cable connected.

I've tried the 30-30-30 seconds reset and all the others that I find but no good news yet. There's any way to do a hard flash (with wires)?

My Dlink dir-615 board is 7016A0463901g Rev: 1.10
H/w: ver: h2 F/w ver: 8.02

Thanks a lot

This this:
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)

If this fails, you'll need to find a new router.
