Hi all,
I just bought a DNR-322L for video recording of my 3 DCS7110 and 4 DCS2120.
Before I used the DView Cam 3.2 version and everything worked ok recording to a network disk. Motion detection were saved on the disk.
Now, with the DNR-322L the DCS2120 cameras work fine with motion detection, but the DCS7110 not.
All the 7110 cameras has the firmware version 1.2 and DNR has 1.3. Motion detection is enabled on the cameras (... it works if using the DView Cam software)...
Any help on this?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried going to the status page of the camera's and disconnecting the 7110 then clicking reconnect?.

Hi, thanks for the tip. But, yes, i did it on the status page of the DNR, even I downgrade the firmware to 1.2 and nothing. By suggestion of the service support I upgrade the firmware again to 1.3b2 and nothing. With the dViewCAm still work perfectly, but I bought the DNR to avoid the usage of a PC at home all day on power.

Hi, just adding an update. Motion detection is now running on 7110`s. By suggestion of the Dlink service support, I changed the sensitivity to less than 100% and the percentage for 40% and now runs ok. I still feel difficult to find the right adjustment between sensitivity and percentage for motion detection on the dnr vs dviewcam sw.

To give you some idea of how other DCS series cameras handle motion detection, please see the following sticky post: DCS-9XX - Motion Detection Settings (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48186.0).

Hi JavaLawer,
Thanks for the tip. The difference between the mentioned camera and mine is the percentage slider. If it was only the sensitivity slider would be easier.
I still feel there is space for improvement on the 7110 behavior on the motion detection, if connect to the DNR322L
