Title: DFL-800 and RADIUS
Post by: unnamedplayer on December 28, 2012, 05:25:50 PM
Hello,

Is it possible to configure 802.1x authentication with an external RADIUS server for the LAN ports of the DFL-800? What I mean to say is, is it possible to require authentication if I plug a client into any of the LAN ports on the device?

I am looking at the User Authentication Rules and under agents it looks like they are only triggered for VPN connections to the device.

Thanks for any help!

802.1x is feature of managed L2 switches. DFL is router, so it hasn't such feature at all.

On DFL, you can setup only HTTP IP-based autorization or make PPTP server with Internet only inside.
