Title: router will not reset, followed instructions

hello, i need help with resetting my router (d-link dir 615) because i forgot my password but it won't reset. i tried pushing the reset button with a pin for 10 sec and even longer when it didn't work.

there was even this long instruction from a forum (by another user) to:
-reset 15 sec. unplug for 30 sec.
-plug back in for 45 sec.
-stop pressing reset for 10 sec and finally
-unplug for 1 min. before using again

that many resets should have worked and i don't know what went wrong, even clicking 'restore device' on this page does not work. http://support.dlink.com/emulators/wbr2310/tools_system.htm

resetting used to work like real quick before this problem. thanks for any help. :)

Are you sure you are not entering a PW when you try to log in? The password is bank after doing a reset.
Click the Login button, don't hit enter on the keyboard.

Try using IE or FF to manage the router, Chrome exhibits odd behavior.

hi, thanks for the reply.. fortunately today, some tech guys came to replace our internet connection's main modem, since they released a new model. they also fixed the dlink router itself and even helped us change the password, so it's now working fine.. :D
