Title: D-Link Extreme 450 N - still planned?
Post by: dyeager on April 22, 2009, 05:12:36 PM
This product was announced almost last year (Early January) http://www.dlink.com/press/pr/?prid=460 as the world's fastest dual wireless router -- 50% faster than the DIR-855.  Well publicized at the time.

Has anyone seen it or heard of the D-Link Extreme 450 N in beta form or engineering samples?   DIR-855 did go scarce for a while, but a readily available again.  Any hopeful sign that this thing is more than vaporware?

Same!  It can't be any worse than what we're stuck with now.

DAMN!!!  I would really like one of those.  Well...  If they actually worked as well as it's touted.

No recent entry in the FCC database under KA2 for this product (unlike a competitor).  Still waiting.  First vendor accross the finish line wins.
