Title: dlink loopback detection versus stp
Post by: nintendo1889 on January 09, 2013, 08:53:23 AM
What's the difference between loopback detection and stp?

Don't they accomplish the same thing, detect loops? Or is loopback detection a proprietary dlink feature (and is faster than STP  :D )

Or is STP used when linking to non-Dlink switches, in prevent loops?

Any answers?

I checked all of the (information-scarce  ::) ) documentation.
