Title: WiFi Problem
Post by: JB54 on January 23, 2013, 03:33:23 PM
Greetings,

I've searched the forum and have not seen this problem.

Successful wired Wizard setup, telling the Wizard WiFi will be used.
Unlpug the Ethernet cable and the camera connects to WiFi no problems.

Unplug the Camera to move to another location (in same room as the Router, btw) and it fails to connect when plugged in across the room w/o the Cat 5 cable.
After an hour or so I checked the LED and it went from red to green for all of two seconds.
Periodically checking every 15 minutes or so reveals a red light. I guess I got lucky on that one green light.

It's just a device... the fact that it is a camera has no meaning at all. It should work as well as my printer, my media device, my smart phone, etc.

Thanks for your responses,
Jeff

What firmware version are you using?
