What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What region are you located?

Thank you.
The hardware version is :A5 and firmware is 1.30WW. My modern is Novatel wireless i reside in Nigeria.

I would refer you to the User Manual for the A5 version to see if it has any options for installing 3G USB modems on the USB port. I believe some older Rev As had the ability.
I recommend that you phone contact DLink support for your region and ask which one, if any, supports the installation of a 3G modem.

Thank you

Good Luck.

Pls can i share my 3g modern internet through the router's wireless.
Am using windows 7

If the 655 supports a internet connection thru the 3g USB port, the WiFi on the 655 should share out and connect with any wireless device connected to the 655's WiFi.
-
On the Setup > USB Settings page from the admin console, if 3G is one of the items in the drop down box then you can plug your phone into the USB port and use it for your Internet Connection.

Thank you all. But will appreciate it if i can get the steps to share.

Need to setup SSID name and password under Setup/Wireless.
Set up a Security mode and password, Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto under Setup/Wireless.
Save Settings and reboot. Your wireless devices should connect to the 655 using the SSID name and password you gave.
