Title: DAP-1360 (rev. C1): access client mode doesn't work to access the internet
Post by: Bertrand57 on January 26, 2013, 12:52:35 PM
Hi everyone,
Here is the issue, the only way I can make it work to access the internet is to set it in wireless client mode.
And the speed is dramatically slow compare to my old 802.11g AP, 1:5 for the best I can get !!!
I want to use it in access point mode.
I tried, of course, different channels, doesn't matter what, the speed is very very very slow ! :(
If there is anybody who got any idea to make this work, I will be gratefull,
Thanks

What region are you located?
Has a Factory Reset been performed?

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

How is the DAP connected? To a host router?
What wireless modes are you using?

Thanks for your answer FurryNutz,
I just modify (create) my profile, sorry, I'm located in France.
And Yes, I did a reset.
I have DSL, I have a FreeBox revolution wifi router v6.
The DAP is connected to my computer and is using for now as a wireless client and I'm using both g & n wireless mode.
[EDIT] I tried many different configurations to make it work, n only, WEP, WPA, ... unfortunately I couldn't make it work as an access point only !?
[EDIT] It is only the download speed which is critical, the upload one is fine, means it's the same than before with my 11g AP
