When I use my work laptop (AT&T client with token) it works fine.
When my wife with her computer, (different company) 75% of the time the router reboots (and of course kicks everyone else off). She is able to connect wirelessly, the router recognizes her and she is able to have an internet connection. But the moment she launches her VPN - BAM!
This was not a problem with our previous router (DI-624). Any idea what knob I need to tweak?

I have up to 5 concurrent VPN connections through the DIR-855.
Settings Advanced/Firewall:
SPI : off
ALG : IPSEC (VPN) = on
ALG: PPTP = on
NAT Endpoint Filtering: UDP = Endpoint Independent TCP = Address Restricted
If you have the possibility to switch the vpn client between UDP and TCP connection, select UDP.

Problem solved. She cannot connect wireless. Evidently her VPN takes over administration of the wireless network connection from Windows. On boot, Windows connects, then on VPN launch, the VPN tries to relog onto the router with the same MAC. Router must not like that second try.
I connected her via ethernet cable and everything sailed through fine. I guess a switch is in my future...
