Title: Debian on the DNS-320L: All network shares hidden
Post by: Manul on January 27, 2013, 03:35:37 AM
Hi,

I have just tried installing the chroot Linux environment provided on the Polish D-Link site for the DNS-320 on my DNS-320L. It boots nicely and I can ssh into the NAS and have a working Linux environment. However, booting into this hides all my defined network shares. I can neither see them in the admin interface nor connect to them from my Mac. Rebooting with ffp instead of Debian brings them back.

Has anybody else tried installing Debian on the DNS-320L? Do you see the same behaviour? Did you find a fix for it?

Googling for this problem, I've seen a couple of people report the same problem on the DNS-320, but I haven't found a solution posted anywhere. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue with the same setup. Anybody who has more information?
