Has someone performed the updating of the firmware DLINK DHP-500AV
vers. 2.0 (hardware upgrade from A1 to B1)...?
This release contains 2 files:
DHP-500AVB1_CEB_FW200b02.rar
DHP-500AVB1_NA_FW200b02.rar
are these proper for the DLINK DHP-500AV A1 sold in Italy?
If yes,
which of the two is it proper?
To perform the updating seems necessary to also use a new Utility: DHP-500AV B1 FW v2.00 (file:500PPU300b23.zip)
bye

Ok...so apparently by using one of these files you can do a HW upgrade from A1 to B1. Hmmm.
Ok, looking at these files and information. I can't tell which ones to use and if you should use them at all since you have a Rev A1 model.
I going to recommend that you get on the phone with your regional local DLink support office and ask them which one of these files you, if any, can use on you Rev A1. Usually Rev A1 need to be updated with Rev A FW files and can not be upgraded using Rev B files. This maybe a special occasion for you. Please phone contact DLink support first and get there official information and help.
Let us know how it goes please.

Normally the regional local DLink support staff
has only commercial skills....

I recommend contacting the UK support line and ask someone there to see if they can help you. Keep us posted.
