D-link DNS 320 (Link Speed Settings is on 1000Mbps)
TP-link wr1043nd router
large files upload speed is around 4.3 Mb/sec, can this be faster? i expected more speed from this LAN configuration...
is there any way to speed it up?

And how can i use usb connection on front of DNS to transfer files from transcend external HDD to DNS?

To answer your first question, if you are using wireless then yes that will be about as good as it gets under normal conditions. You might be able to increase speed but that requires knowing what other wireless links on the same channel and then seeing if you can find a less used one and making that your default channel.
If you are using Cat5/6 cable then you need to look at your connections and how the lan is set up on your computers.
To answer your second question - read the manual - there is a copy button right next to the USB port.

I would recommend using a external Gb network switch and connect the DNS and any wired LAN devices to the switch. This will increase performance, reduce any un-necessary router processing interferences that can cause slow downs.

LAN isn't much different and isn't not difficult to connect. Just Plug N Play.
