Title: Allow Internet Access for some devices despite Schedule
Post by: ajk0952 on February 27, 2013, 07:06:14 AM
Hi Dlink forum.

I was just curious if there was a way to allow a computer and a ps3 to have unrestricted internet access while at the same time preventing other devices from connecting to the internet at a scheduled time (12 am to 8 am for example)?

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What region are you located?

To set up scheduling:
1. Reserve device IP addresses ON the router under Setup/Networking.
2. Set up a schedule under Tools/Schedule on the routers web page. Customize your dates and times here.
3. Use Access Control under Advanced to apply the customized schedule to a policy and to the Device(s) desired to be controlled.

Detailed help or instructions would be much appreciated as I am not that great with router configurations.
