My new DNS-320 has a 18 Mb/s write speed... DNS-320 is behind a gigabyte ethernet network. Transfers between computer are near 100 Mb/s and now... ¿where is bottleneck? ¿NAS CPU? Hard diskas a er WD green 2Tb. Last firmware 2.03. No other services in use.
¿Writing files is a process with heavy CPU use?
I know this NAS has a 800 Mhz dedicated CPU but i am not happy with this terrorific speed...
Am I doing something wrong????

Its may be gigabyte Ethernet network but you got many transfer points.
Computer to router
Router to nas
Nas to harddrive
Those speeds are fairly normal for a standard home use nas
A huge video file with 3D and 1080p resolution and Dolby Digital Plus audio requires less than 10 Mbps.
Its not like usb3 which is made for pure speed.
You can tweak things like enable jumbo frames if your router supports it to boast things alittle. (err ignore that got my nas confused the dns 320 doesn't have that)
Around 20 is about around what you going to see though as most home Nas are built for storage rather then massive speed.
