before dir655 can add the 3G usb model
why the new ver not support?

they say in the USA it didnt work in previous firmwares although it strangely worked everywhere else in the world

There are some other threads where it has been stated that DLInk may be coming out with an EU version of the 1.31 firmware that puts back the 3G option.

Rumors are just rumors, for now...

I'd be happy to see 3G support back, and not just for EU but for NA as well.

search back.  one of teh Dlink folks said it was going to likely go into a Euro version that would be good for most. 

I'm interested as it is a good option for Canada.

Yeah, i heard about that maybe a month ago, but nothing happens. This 3G function is very important to me, and It was one of the most important options for me in this router when i was choosing one.

So D-Link, you must put it back in EU. Please do so!

just relax and wait, there has not been a final release again since then.

They cannot in good conscience remove a feature that was one of the advertised selling features without opening themselves up to litigation.
