Title: Camera does not respond...
Post by: sim_v on March 02, 2013, 12:25:17 AM
Hi,

After setting the motion detector % and clicked the "save setting" button, the camera never respond. I can't display a single web page or see video thru android application.
If iI telnet camera on 80 port. camera accept connection but send nothing.
Problem, I'm at a distance of 500km from the camera...

They is a emergency remote restart procedure ?
Camera embedd a watchdog system ?

Next time I plug it to a timer switch to restart it every 24H.

If you can navigate to the settings in the Web UI, there is a camera reboot option. If the camera is completely unresponsive to user queries, then you will need physical access to the camera to reboot.

The house time option is a known solution that a number of camera owners are using.
