Hi, I have a new laptop and had a dlink DIR601 installed on an older laptop. I wasn't the one who got it set up originally but they did have me write down my SSID, password and security key. The dlink came with a cd but there is no cd rom on this laptop. I have tried reset, on line download (which only let me do the revisions). Wondering if someone could walk me through. I have talked to a few people and they say it's easy! Not for this girl.

Just do a reset using the button on the back of the router and then open a browser and type in 192.168.0.1 and you can log in to the routers web page using Admin and the password is blank so just hit enter. Use the on board wizard to set up the router from there. The CD isn't needed.
