Hi guys, I've seen a few topics on this forum regarding BSOD's but no resolved ones, so... here's one more hopefully providing a little more information -
I have been experiencing frequent BSOD when trying to copy files to my new DNS-320, system setup -
HP6910p laptop running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
DNS-320 loaded with WD Caviar SE16 500gb
connected via Sky broadband Sagecom router
The BSOD doesn't seem to happen during any particular type of file or directory structure, but after a random amount of time - copying small numbers of files is possible without a crash
logs -
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80002c1f477). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 030813-29998-01.

Anybody out there had BSOD and got to the bottom of it?
thanks,

I'd be absolutely amazed if this was a fault with the NAS to be honest... If it doesn't happen when copying smaller files but does when copying larger ones, I'd lean towards it being a faulty memory module in your laptop.
Probably worth downloading MemTest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/), burning to CD and booting from that and letting it run for a couple of passes.

As Teaser says, it appears to be a problem with your laptop.
When you get a copy of MemTest86 make sure it is the 64 bit version to match your 64 bit processor. It would also help if you checked the CPU for overheating - blocked cooling ducts etc.
