I had a Brother laser printer plugged into my DNS-323. Well the printer died. I have a replacement printer which is wireless, so I no longer need a printer hanging off DNS. Now I can't figure out how to remove the print queue from the DNS. People keep adding this non-existent printer causing me grief.
Any suggestions?

I can't remember if there was anything else as I never used it, but I thnk I had to delete the .LPD directory. I may have had to remove a samba configuration option as well. Sorry, it was a few years back.

Have you tried the 'clear print queue(s)' button in the 'STATUS' > 'PRINTER INFO:' section of the web interface configuration?

That just removes the contents of the spool folder, it won't remove the print queue.

Thanks for that bit of information which will be stored for future reference. I've not had need to remove printers yet.
