Title: Fluctuations on cable and wlan on DHP-1565
Post by: Mr, me on March 13, 2013, 05:09:06 PM
Hi,

Always nice to buy new things but it sometimes so happens that's not working properly. I just bought a new router (DHP-1565). Configured all requirements but now it so happens that i have fluctuations while browsing, gaming etc, this happens wired and wireless.

Before this router we had a linksys where we haven't had any problems with. Of course I reseted all the hardware to factory settings and such but the problem still arises while being online longer then 2 minutes.

Any suggestions what and where i should be looking to fix this?

Regards,

Rick

I've the same router and also experiance connection losses especially when an external USB HD is connected to the router. After removing the HD from the router the connections stay stable for weks ... It seems that SharePort is causing instable performance on the router.

I recommend that you phone contact DLink support and let them know about this and get quick turn around information.

Let us know what they say.

Good Luck.
