Title: View video on iPad w/o Mydlink app?
Post by: zbest on March 15, 2013, 07:13:43 PM
Is there a way to view live video without using the Mydlink app on an iPad?

If your iPad is connected to the same LAN as your DCS-930L (i.e. i.e. local network), you can try opening a browser and enter [CAMERA_IP_ADDRESS]/mjpeg.cgi

I didn't want to use it either.

1) the camera always streams to my-dlink (skeptical of streaming video to a third party server with no control over the data or access logs)
2) I don't really need to go to my-dlink to get access to the network since it already support dynamic dns

and another thing i noticed is when i disconnected my-dlink it reset the whole device.. kind of weird, the option should be able to dynamically add and remove when needed not a complete reset.
