I got a new laptop for Christmas that came with the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 2230 card that supports 802.11N.   I am only seeing connection speeds of 1500mbps rather than the 300mbps that he DAP-1522 advertises.
I found this on the d-link site but from what  read on the Intel site about the card it supports the 40Mhz band.  http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=618.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=618.0)
Intel Driver: 15.5.6.48
OS W8 x64 Pro

				1500Mb or 150Mb?  ???
Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41537.0)
What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on DAPs web page under status.
What region are you located?
To get 300Mb connections, the DAP needs to be set up for single mode N only, WPA2 and AES onlly security and Bandwidth should be set to Auto 20/40Mhz. If the adapter does not connect at 300Mb with these settings, then the adapter maybe incompatible.

				I am getting 144.0Mbps....
Product Page : DAP-1522      Firmware Version : 2.02      Hardware Version : B1
Region US
DAP set to N Only, WPA2, AES, Auto Bandwidth.
1 time I did see the speed at 246Mbps and drop to 214Mbps and then back to 144Mbps so I am guessing the card supports it.....but must not do it well since I have not seen it go above 144Mbps other than the 1 time which was really only a few seconds.

I would confirm with a different device that supports 300Mb connections to see if that connects, if it does, I would presume that the card on the Laptop isn't working right, drivers are not working right or card needs to be upgraded.
