Hi,
I recently purchased a DIR-645 and set it up as a wireless router. It has it's IP configured. DHCP is off (obtained from ModemRouter). Wireless is set to N+G. Latest 1.03 firmware.
Every day all my iOS devices lose the WIFI connection and have to manually be re-connected. My Android phone and Macbook remain connected.
I've set up 3 items on the DHCP RESERVATIONS LIST for iOS but it still forgets and I have to select the wireless network and enter the password every day.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What region are you located?
Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
Try setting a manual channel to a open or unused channel. 1, 6 or 11. 11 for single mode N if the channel is clear.
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto.
The devices have profiles and should be checked to see if they are set up to remember last connections as well. My iPhone 4S remembers the last connected signal. iPhone running iOS v6.1.2

Tried Single modes G and N - no good
Tried Mixed G/N - no good
Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
Tried both - no difference

It's set to: Auto (WPA or WPA2) + AES

Even when I turn off Wireless security, the iPhone won't remember to connect to the router and I have to manually select it.
This used to work seamlessly with my Billion :(

I might have solved it!
I saw on another post to change the network name from DLINK to something else.
I'll see if all devices remember over 24 hours.
Thanks.

Maybe there was another dlink SSID name are the near by area. Always remember to change the default name to something else when setting up wireless APs.
Keep us posted on how it goes. ;)

24 hours later and all still connected. I reckon that's fixed!
