Hi,
i have a problem with my dns-320l. Since dlink support doesn't answer, i will try it here...
I bought two 2TB hard drives (Western Digital Red) and choose to format them as a JBOD.
Up to this point everything worked great.
But then i realised i would prefer raid 1 and started the build process.
This was about a week ago!! It still stands at 0%. The process "diskmgr" has constant 100% so it's doing anything.
But it seems that this never get finished!!
What can i do now? There's no option to cancel it and restarting the nas through the web interface is not possible during this process....so what can i do?
Don't think it will be a good idea to hardly turn it off, but what else is possible in this situation?

Here are a series of steps you can take.
- If the unit is frozen and you are unable to perform a graceful power down, you can try performing a factory reset. While the DNS-320L is powered-up, press and hold the reset button on the rear of the unit for > 8 seconds. If this DNS-320L continues to hang, then perform a hard shutdown (i.e. physically cut the power).
- [Optional Step] Remove the two HDDs from the DNS-320L and mount them in a Windows PC and use Windows to remove any existing partitions, which is known to sometimes confuse the ShareCenter. Next re-seat the HDDs in the DNS-320L
- Power-Up the DNS-320L
- Perform a Factory Reset (if you haven't already done so in step 1).
- Configure the two HDDs
If step 2 is a hassle, you can try this procedure skipping step 2. If the HDDs still fail to configure properly, then you can repeat with Step 2. As a matter of course, if you are not using the latest available firmware, consider upgrading.
