Try resetting the DCS-932L to the factory default settings and try again. While the DCS-932L is powered-up, press and hold the recessed Reset button using a paperclip for > 8 seconds.

I had the same problem
Make sure you have the latest setup software installed and use that to set the camera up. I had a existing camera which I updated the firmware to 1.6 then tried to reset it up and change passwords etc but 1.6 only works with latest set up software.
The latest firmware 1.6 only sets up correctly with the latest set up wizard v1.02.10

I have exactly the same issue. :(
I am quite sure I have the latest firmware installed, but not 100% sure. I did a firmware update some time ago. When was the latest (v1.06?) released?
Anyway, how can I update the camera, if I can't set a password for the camera, or the default login is admin/admin?

I called my local D-Link support yesterday for €4, and it was the installation software on the supplied CD that was out of date. Downloaded the latest off the website, and then it went smooth like a summer breeze.
Surprised that the software didn’t automatically look for a newer version (which many softwares conveniently do), but anyway my problem is solved. :)
