Lately, Ive been trying to change my router DNS to OpenDNS. Somehow, after changing it, I couldnt access the router page at 192.168.0.1, getting the error 500 message. I unplugged and plugged the router with no effect. Im using a dlinkddns.com dynamic IP, and have a few ports forwarded for my DVR. The router model is DIR 615. Please help. I really want to change the DNs for speed and filtering purposes.
Thank you in advance.

Oh btw, I reset the router already. Im just trying to finish what I started. For now I can view the page. Just wondering if the error will repeat itself when I change the DNS again.

Did you reboot the router AND reboot ALL connected devices?

Yes, even the modem. Define connected devices? Does that mean I have to reboot all ipads, phones and laptops? And what if it doesnt work?

Your changing the way DNS is used on the router. All previous DNS addresses that are cached on the devices needs to be updated to reflect the new addresses you are using thus needing a reboot or flush the DNS cache. Or your configuration of the addresses isn't right. Also when you use new custom DNS, is DNS Relay enabled? I tend to turn this off and let the router pass thru actual DNS addresses to the devices instead of masking it with 192.168.0.1.
