Title: DCS-932L and Apple AirPort Extreme router
Post by: FFrrEEddRRiiKK on April 06, 2013, 08:36:57 AM
Hi,

Are there any known issues when setting up a DCS-932L with an Apple AirPort Express router?

My cameras worked fine, until I did a reset on my router to refresh my wireless network, and now I can't get the cameras to work.

I come to the part where I fill in password for the admin part to give a password to the camera, but it just keeps saying that it doesn't work.

You get to the login screen for the web UI and the password doesn't work? If this is the case, you may want to perform a factory reset of the device, which will reset the default admin password along with all user settings.

While the DCS-932L is powered-up, press and hold the recessed reset button using a paper clip for > 8 seconds.

Have tried that, doesn't work.

I get to here, but no further. :(

Sounds unlikely that all four cameras should go corrupt. :o

Any other suggestions? ???

I get them to connect to the network, it just seems I can't get past the camera password registration part, thus getting to the final parts of the setup.

I called my local D-Link support yesterday for €4, and it was the installation software on the supplied CD that was out of date. Downloaded the latest off the website, and then it went smooth like a summer breeze.

Surprised that the software didn’t automatically look for a newer version (which many softwares conveniently do), but anyway my problem is solved. :)
