Title: AFP still not working with firmware 2.03
Post by: MattBW on April 08, 2013, 01:03:21 PM
Pulling my hair out with this one, some report its possible to get it working. However whenever I connect to Afp I get asked for the password, then the share to mount and then it just hangs indefinitely.

The fireware notes claim its fixed but it won't work on any of my macs.

Anyone still having problems or got it to work? Based on my experience with this I won't be buying d-link again. I know it was apple who changed AFP but the website still claims Afp is supported which it most certainly isn't unless youre on a legacy OS.

Really strange, because on my DNS-325 AFP has worked from day 1, from 1st FW release. Now I've made 2 updates to it, still works.

Its very odd, and I have several macs and none of them can connect. I don't know what else to try. Apple blame dlink and dlink say its fixed.
