I received today a new DNS320L.
I moved two 2 hard disks 1TB Seagate Barracuda GT 7200.11 ST31000340AS.
They were installed in a NAS that doesn't work anymore.
I inserted the disks an started the wizard.
Blue lights on Left and Right disk. When I arrive to the step where you need to select the devices the text area is blank and led lights turn to orange.
Is there any log to check?

Hi!
I am having the same problem as you are having I think. I am not at home so I can try the following:
- According to the manual: at the bottom of the dns 320L you will find a small reset button. It should be near the sticker with model number etc. Press in the reset button and hold it for 15 seconds to restore it to factory settings.
Hopefully this will fix our problems.

A couple of things to note are that the DNS-320L must be powered-up while the reset button is held. Secondly, resetting will cause all user settings to revert to the factory defaults. Lastly, this process should not impact existing HDDs configuration or stored data.

Had no effect. Please.. all tips are welcome

It seems one part of the problem is solved.
I plugged the DNS320L in the router and detect its IP.
Then I access directly web interface.
I accessed using admin/no password.
I formatted the 2 discs and mount the disc on my pc.
The wizard is not working but the discs are accessible.
Now I tried to configure the D-Link ShareCenterSync but it does not detect the DNS320L like the wizard.
I double checked my Windows Firewall and added the program to exception. I even truied to disable it.
Nothing.
Do I have to check something also on the router?

I fitted a new disk to mine yesterday and it went orange. Once I logged in and went to settings I could format the new disk - then it went blue.
For the sharecentre program, mine wouldnt work on windows 8. I had to run it on an earlier version (vista). I guess it should work on windows 7 but didnt have access to a machine.
