Title: Cannot enable Motion Detection
Post by: picmov on April 10, 2013, 08:46:46 PM
Hello!

I have problem when I click the checkbox for Motion Detection and try to save the settings.
I draw a rectangle, change the sensitivity (tested with default as well) and then I click Save Settings.
After 1 minute I get Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE) in the browser: No data received.
Other settings can be saved (network, email and so on). But no settings regarding the Motion Detection.
Is there someone out there who run into this error?

32 bit or 64 bit?

What happens in IE?

I have windows 7 and I use Chrome as a browser.

I had the same problem with Win 7 and Chrome (however, also IE9, both 32 and 64 bit versions, gave me the same problem).

It was solved in the following way:
1. I reset the camera's hardware via the "reset" button behind the camera, which I pressed with a pin for 15 seconds
2. I used the latest Firefox browser

If you invert my two steps and it works, you don't have to re-configure the camera (which took me a good ten minutes)

I had the same issue. Now I can configure Motion Detection, using Firefox browser. I didn't need to reset the device. It seems that only Firefox browser is used by dlink lab to test their firmware...
