Title: DNS-320L and Samsung ES Serie, does anyone make connection?
Post by: Spes74 on April 12, 2013, 10:08:36 AM
I just bought a DNS-320L because I read in the technical adv, of course before finding out this forum, the compatibility with the Samsung ES Serie (I own a 40ES6900). As I saw in several topics in this forum I installed the NAS, which perfectly works with the PC through a domestic net, the same that makes the Samsung see the NAS but entering the media folders (Music, Photo, Video) they are empty despite in the HD of the NAS and as evident in the PC, they are plenty of files.
I activate the PnP server and made the system refresh, well more or less what I already read  in the forum...but what I wonder is...is anybody successful in sorting out this issue?
I read things like updating firmware, changing protocol, using fun plug...is anything effective?
Or they are not going to get together ever?
What might have been the best choice, instead of the D-Link? >:(?

I use the NAS with my UE46ES5700 without any problems. But i have to say that i installed Twonky from day one on, so i can not say if that may is a problem with the DLink Media Service.

I got the same problem with my Panasonic Viera TH-L47ET50K. No solution so far, I confirmed is the DNS320L firmware issue as I revert back to older version firmware it works but got 100% CPU spike  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
