Title: USBDisk1_1 can be read/write by anonymous users in FTP
Post by: Vicboy on April 13, 2013, 09:40:02 AM
If anyone wonders how to access the USB drive (which you can actually read/write into) other than FTP, just plug in a USB storage device, type in \\yourNASipaddress (like \\192.168.1.123) in the address bar of Windows's File Explorer and look for the USBDisk1_1 folder.

But anyway, USBDisk1_1 cannot be modified in Network Shares, ergo, anyone can access it.

I have the same problem and this is a security issue in my book, especially if you use DDNS.

This should be fixed asap.

FTP appears to be disabled under Network Shares Settings for this device, even though it clearly isn't,
and we can't "Modify" the settings as the button is disabled.
