Title: Should I buy a new ADSL Modem?
Post by: illingworth22 on May 06, 2009, 05:20:07 AM
I have just purchased the following products, DIR-855 (Dual Band Router) & DAP-1522 (Dual Band WiFi Bridge) as well as a DCS-2120 (IP Camera).
Now here is my Question. Should I go the whole hog and purchase the ADSL2 Ethernet Modem DSL-320B or will it be possible to connect the Router, Bridge & IP Camera to my existing Netopia Router as supplied by Eircom?
If I can connect the new stuff to my old Netopia which will be the best way to connect and set up the new D-Link equipment (Bridge Mode, LAN to WAN, LAN to LAN)?
Also would it be right to say I need to connect the IP camera to the Netopia Router (using a third SSID on the Netopia) or can I connect it to the DIR-855 WiFi?
