Hi all.
I have the DIR655 A2 firmware 1.35 with Thomson ST518 v6 modem DSL service from Telus / Alberta. The DIR655 wirelessly connected to various computers using WPA2 encryption and is working fine. Recently I dig out a Sony Clie PDA that can be connected to internet only through WEP encryption. There was no WPA back then,I guess. So my question is how do I connect the PDA to internet under this circumstances? Is there a guest setting that WEP may be used ? I would appreciate any help from you on this issue and many thanks in advance.

I would either get an additional AP device and connect to the 655 to run WPA2, then use the Wifi on the 655 to run WEP.
Would look like this:
ISP modem>DIR-655<>Wireless with WEP security for Sony device.
<>D-Link DAP model AP running wireless with WPA2 security for all other supporting devices.
The 655 and DAP would need to be on different channels and use different SSID name since the security mode would be different.
Some suggestions for DAP models: What ever is available in Canada. Some models may not be available.

Thanks for the quick reply.I sure will go buy a dap tonight and see how I can set this up.I've read some comments that the setup(of the dap) might be tideous / challenging. I'll see what I can do.
