Title: Measure amount of data traffic
Post by: barnum1 on April 17, 2013, 12:33:58 PM
Hi!

I'm pretty new to D-Link routers, so sorry if this is a stupid question :-)

I would like to measure amount of data I have uploaded and downloaded on the internet since last router reboot.
I see there is a STATISTICS under STATUS, which lists the packets, but how big is a packet?
And can I just take the values under Receive and Transmit (row called Internet) and multiply with packet size?

Thanks for any help!

I don't believe these routers support the reporting of actual packet sizes, just through put, whats been transmitted and lost, if any.
You could see if this helps any:
