Title: Connecting L3 switch to firewall
Post by: John Kizmo on April 18, 2013, 11:56:07 PM
We have a newly acquired Dlink-3620-28TC layer 3 switch. My question is how do i set up the layer 3 to connect to a firewall..

Base on my cisco knowledge i have to configure one port on the L3 switch as routed port and assign ip address on it but can't seem to find a way to do it here. Tnx..

first you have to configure vlans on switch, then the ip interfaces of routing in the switch, then set routes on switch and firewall accordingly
