Hi all,
I've been running for several years with ffp enabled on my DNS-323. A couple of weeks ago something happened (I'm guessing a power failure), and I can no longer access my NAS through afp or smb. I also cannot telnet into it.
The one thing I can do is ftp in. After rebooting I can see that ffp.log has recorded new entries. It appears that the fun_plug script is unable to access the fun_plug.init and rc files:
**** fun_plug script for DNS-323 (2008-08-11 tp@fonz.de) ****
Sat Apr 27 22:36:14 DST 2013
ln -snf /mnt/HD_a2/ffp /ffp
* Running /ffp/etc/fun_plug.init ...
source: No such file or directory
* Running /ffp/etc/rc ...
/mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug: /ffp/etc/rc: Input/output error
I've been messing with this for hours - I've tried changing permissions on folders and files, etc. Any changes I make to fun_plug itself are reflected in ffp.log, but there is nothing I can do to get fun_plug.init to execute! Any ideas?
Once I get telnet access (or ssh) I plan to run fsck on both drives according to:

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give!

Have you tried doing a complete reinstall of fun_plug itself just in case the power failure caused corruption to some of the files?
