Title: motion detection sensitivity
Post by: oranges on April 29, 2013, 05:47:01 PM
When I put the sensitivity in motion detection up to 100% it seems that images stop. I am using FTP. Can anyone else confirm when you put the image sensitivity to 100% images stop being sent? I still get the thousands of log messages, but no images.

Thanks!

Sounds like it might be tripping over itself at 100%.

What is your Percentage set at?

i had it at 100% and received nothing but log files to both SMTP and FTP servers. Didnt start receiving anything again until i put it down to 85%.

Can you confirm that no images are received when the sensitivity is set to 100%?

I have 60% set with 1% of about 30 pixels in motion detection on my camera.
I set it to 70% and received ftp videos  about every 3 minutes... total false alarms.

You didn't answer my question as to your percentage.
