Title: adding second drive to DNS321
Post by: sugargenius on May 07, 2009, 11:03:10 AM
I currently have a single 1 TB Seagate in my DNS321 f/w 1.01.  I plan on adding a second, "standalone" drive soon.  How can I accomplish this without affecting the data on the first drive?

Thx

Safest way would either be to A> Backup data on the drive, or B> take the drive out when you format the other drive. Once it is done formatting power down, insert original drive and turn back on.
