Title: Ports that I have forwarded are being blocked?
Post by: CrownSeven on May 08, 2009, 08:18:21 AM
I have some UDP and TCP ports forwarded on my 4500 that are related to VOIP, yet when I look in the logs I am seeing that the firewall is still blocking some of the udp ports?  Can anyone explain to me why this is happening?

Thanks for the help.

This was happening on 1.15, just updated to the beta version hoping it may help.

Ports I have forwarded:

UDP:  5060-5080
         35000-65000

TCP:  35000-65000

Port I have seen blocked from reading the logs: udp 55528.

There are others, unfortunately upon loading the new firmware, I lost the log with the info.

I just upgraded to 1.20 and have the same issue as the OP.

I have a talkswitch phone extension at my house that has not worked since I installed the dlink router.

Ports 5060 are forwarded as well as 6000-6006 and it still refuses to connect to my office.

It worked with my l***sys router with just 5060 forwarded. I even told the dlink to accept all traffic from my office IP and it still blocks some traffic.

Any suggestions before I throw it out into the road and go back to my old router?
