I'm trying to set up a 932L, but my setup wizard will not go beyond the "Checking For Updates..." screen. What can I do? I've tried unplugging, resetting, re-downloading. No luck.
-
It's happening the same thing with me - Full progress bar and ..... nothing else.
-
Yup. Well I guess I'm glad it's not just me. Hopefully someone has an idea. Mine stayed this way all night...no change.

DCS-932L Set Up Wizard stuck on CHECKING FOR UPDATES...Stuck of hours now
-
Are you using the latest version of the wizard software? You can download the latest version for the DCS-932L here: mydlink.com/support (https://www.mydlink.com/support)
-
Yes, downloaded it right from the DLink site yesterday.
-
I just uninstall the old version, re-installed the latest version from the page you linked to. I think their server is down.
How do you let them know?

Had the same problem...program was stuck forever. Here's a workaround..
Before starting the program, disconnect yourself from the net completely... ie. pull the network plug, shut down your wifi... then the program can't check to see if there is an update and it will start.
Once the program starts and asks you if you care that it can't check for an update, you can connect to the net again.
Hope this help someone....

That is Brilliant. Worked for me. Thank you!!

Thanks for the solution !!! Problem solved :-))

I was advised by D-Link that this issue should be fixed. Can you please validate that the setup process can complete while an active Internet connection is available?
-
I set up another camera tonight. The program is working, at least the OSX version is. Both versions were not working at my previous post, so I suspect the issue is fixed.

Great to hear!
More specifically to your point, D-Link was experiencing issues with their registration services that were fixed a day or so ago. I suspect those issues were the root cause for the issues you and other members were encountering.
