i have hardware a3 i upgraded from 1.21 to 1.31na and reset configuration defaults then i loaded my old config and disabled the graphical authentication, well now i can't log into my router it still asks for the graphical authentication id to be entered which you can not see into a field that is not there.
granted i am sure i can fix it be reseting my router but... it would have been nice if this had not happened in the first place.

Do the reset, then disable the graphical auth. reboot router then restore config. If it is still an issue after that, do another reset and configure the router manually.
-
Had the same issue and eventually went back and had to re-enable the graphical authentication and just live with it.

Problem is that hitting Enter after entering password doesn't work, you must click on Log In to login to router.

I always encounter that problem if I de-select the "Enable Graphical Authentication" option (aka turning it off) and then NOT rebooting the router. That's always a bad move. I have learnt that just becuase D-Link gives you the option to not restart the router, it's always best to restart it after each change if possible.
If you're using Firefox and you get locked out do to this error, you can go under View > Page Style and select NO STYLE. Once you do this, you can view the CAPTCHA whether it's enabled or not and login.

After you log in, you can enable/disable the CAPTCHA feature and then restart the router.

You can delay the reboot without a problem, but it seems that a lot of folks forget to reboot later on...
